Embrace the concept of Positive Aging by joining the 50+ Community Research Network.
The Institute for the Ages was established in part to showcase Sarasota County and to connect researchers across the nation with its unique population. Our region is currently experiencing demographics that will characterize the developed world in 2050. As a result, we as a community are in a unique position to inform and affect the testing of real-world solutions to improve quality of life and support Positive Aging here and nationwide. To accomplish this, the Institute is leading the establishment of the 50+ Community Research Network (50+CRN).
As a member of this network, you will have a chance to make your voice heard and to contribute to improving the quality of life for current and future generations.
Your experience and wisdom helps researchers, product and service developers, and policy makers gather necessary insights and data to optimize innovative concepts for Positive Aging in such areas as: health and wellness, communication and information, respect and social inclusion, transportation and mobility, aging in (the right) place, and meaningful involvement.
As a member of the 50+CRN, you may be asked for your opinions in surveys or focus groups, to participate in research studies or try new products and services. You can elect to also receive information about events, seminars, training and other valuable resources based on your interests. You will receive periodic emails from the Institute to make sure your information stays current and valid.
Enrollment in the 50+ CRN is now open.
At this time, we’re asking if you are 50 years of age or older, and are interested in becoming involved in this initiative, please complete this Registration Form. Completing the Registration Form will put you at the forefront of the action, making you eligible to participate in future research opportunities as they arise.
